Stay was fantastic! Beautiful, quaint hotel with a restaurant and pub on site (entrance from inside the hotel with interleading doors so no need to leave the premises). Clean rooms with comfy beds. Very friendly staff and even someone to carry your bags upstairs.

Skoon, netjies, veilig en troeteldier vriendelik. Wonderlike gasvrye en warm mense. Ons het 1 aand oorgestaan oppad Kaap toe en het weer bespreek vir ons terugkoms.

Friendly reception. Very good for pet friendly accomodation. A lovely garden to sit on the stoep and for dog to sniff around. Nice spacious and clean room. Room with airconditioner was very pleasant in the Karoo heat. I will return.

The place looks even better than the pictures on the website, Its well kept and beautiful. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was also bigger than expected. The food in their restaurant was nice.

Great Value for money and perfect for one nights stays for solo business travellers. I just needed a place to stay for one night, passing through the town. Staff was very friendly and helpful at reception. There was secure parking behind an electric gate.

It's such an awesome place! Felt like home away from home. The room was cleaned every day, and the staff were absolutely awesome 👌. When I am visiting Middelburg again, Karoo Ouberg Guest Lodge will be my first choice of accommodation!

The location is perfect as a half way stopover between Plett and Joburg.

Typical expected country/small town experience. Sitting in the sun on the stoep in the early morning was very pleasant.
